This post has a throwback feel as my outfit is quite 90’s inspired. I was kind of going for a ‘Rachel Green’ from ‘friends’ look with a bit of an urban twist. I’m permanently watching ‘friends’ re-runs and I love the majority of the things Jennifer Aniston is styled in, it definitely inspires some of my outfit choices. As you may have noticed, I’m wearing the same jeans and boots as my previous post, but I’ve always hated the negative stigma attached to wearing the same outfit, or part of an outfit, twice! Although I am a self confessed shopping addict, I really do believe in sustainable fashion & I make sure to donate all my old clothes to charity or sell them on Ebay. I definitely have a long way to go before being able to claim that I am entirely sustainable in my consumption of fashion but it’s something I feel really strongly about and i’m taking small steps to try and be more sustainable! I’ve always been interested in this topic but it became something much more important to me when I read Lucy Siegle’s ‘To die for: Is fashion wearing out the world?’. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in fashion & even those who aren’t interested in it!
I’ve paired the ‘Topshop’ MOM jeans and ‘River Island’ boots with my ‘Topshop’ mesh black crop top and Khaki military shirt. I also added my ‘Ragged Priest’ beanie and my silver studded belt, which kind of modernise this look. I’ve also officially started my business management and styling internship now, which I think is going to be really beneficial, so I’m very excited about that. I was hoping I could catch some sun this Easter, before things get really busy when I get back to uni , but with the current weather situation I think that will be seriously unlikely!

My exams are finally over & I’m back home for Easter so it didn’t take long for me to drag my sister out to take some blogging photos. This look is kind of thrown together and I feel a bit like a biker with the leather gilet and boots! I think this may be my first post which features a pair of jeans as they’re something I hardly ever wear – mostly because I hardly ever find any which don’t make me look even shorter than I already am! I love these Topshop Jeans though as they sit really high up on your waist & definitely add a few inches to your legs. They’re also slightly cropped at the bottom with a turned up ankle, which has a bit of a retro vibe. I’ve paired them with my beloved peep toe, studded boots ,again, and ‘Topshop’ boucle tee. I’ve had this leather gilet for ages now but haven’t been sure what to wear it with, until I brought these jeans! I’m hoping the weather warms up a bit soon so I can get more wear out of it, because I definitely overestimated the weather today & was freezing in it!

Sorry I haven’t got around to doing a proper post this week, but things have been crazy busy, as it’s exam week & I have also had internship interviews this week, which is very exciting! I have been nominated for ‘Best personal style blog (newcomer)’ for Company’s style blogger awards & I would greatly appreciate any nominations from you if you’ve enjoyed looking at & reading my blog! It is only 3 months old so I know I have a long way to go but it’s worth a try! hardly taken off recently. It’s really oversized and grungy, which I love, and also really comfy! I’ve paired it with my topshop, matte disco pants and ‘Chanel’ parody top, which is probably the closest thing I’ll get to ‘Chanel’ for a few more years – much to my dismay! I’ve also added my skull embellished necklace from ‘Zara’ in Barcelona – which I also hardly take off.
Thanks for looking, happy blogging x
This week’s post is set in my home town, as I decided to leave London for a night to visit my family in our sleepy village. This outfit has a very urban feel with my ‘Ragged Priest’ beanie & bomber jacket. This bomber was a steal in the ‘Topshop’ sale as I managed to get it for half price! I love it’s quirky twists, which seperate it from the standard bomber jacket, as it has mesh sleeves, which makes it that bit more feminine, whilst it’s leather cuffs and collar add the toughness I always look for. These boots were a recent splurge of mine as I just couldn’t resist them! They have a really cool stud detailing on the side, as the leather of the shoes covers the majority of the stud, leaving just the centre of it showing, so it looks as if the studs themselves are leather. I’ve layered the jacket over my khaki military shirt and added my skull embellished chain underneath the collar, as always!
Unfortunately, I haven’t spent the last few days at London Fashion Week, like some of my friends, and have been watching it from the comfort of my bed instead! I will be at London Fashion Weekend on Friday though, which makes it much less depressing! I’m hoping that by next year, I might be able to go to the actual shows- but that may be a bit too ambitious for now!
